Reactions of Nehru's Critics around the world ranged from suspect to plain rejecttion of his claims. The wheat America sent our way to help us feed India was so poor in quality that it had black color rahter than the natural golden color of wheat.

1952, India, that has just attained independence might not be able to feed it self for more than 5 years. India is in better position already.
